  • 1920's Inspired Dress

We are going to a 1920's themed wedding in May and I need a dress. I'd love to have a more "flapper" style dress under $100, but I'm having trouble finding any. I tried a local vintage clothing store, but all of the dresses were in the range of $300-500. Ouch. The closest thing I've found has been on ModCloth, but I fear the low scoop back won't work for my bust line. This is the one I found... http://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses...g-on-air-dress

Any ideas on where to look? I really want to go themed, but am afraid I'll end up just wearing some dress out of my closet. I'm stuck. Help!!

It's pretty! How long is your hair? I was thinking you can curl it and wear a beaded headband or one with a feather, red lipstick, fishnets, and a few long strands of pearls? Maybe add long white gloves also if it's not hot?

http://www.unique-vintage.com/ has a huge flapper type section.

How awesome you get to go to a themed wedding! I love that site too Sheherezade! Also I've found to my delight that my new deep waver gives me the desired flapper style curls if you want the hair to go with it.

I didn't even think of etsy. I'll definitely poke around there some too.
