    Real or fake?

    I'd love the opportunity to leaf through racks of free designer items just as much as the next person, but WTF is wrong with people? Am I the only person who's kind of sad after seeing this? I hate to be all "the problem with young people today"...but I mean, jesus. This is a pretty shitty representation of how materialistic we are. I usually don't get up on soap boxes like this - if I had oodles of discretionary income I can't say I'd stick to the sale racks...I'd probably be headed out to buy some unnecessarily expensive clothes - but I tried to imagine if I was in a situation like this and I would have terrified and completely bewildered to see what "free designer clothes" brings out in people.

    And: do you think this is real or fake? I can't decide. Pretty brilliant marketing, whatever the case.

      I think its probably real and I would guess most of those people weren't buying for themselves - they were buying to put them on ebay and make some money.
      Wife to NSG out of training, mom to 2, 10 & 8, and a beagle with wings.

            I guess "free designer clothes" makes people do crazy stuff. I couldn't imagine throwing punches over a red silk shirt though, especially when there appear to be about 30 identical ones hanging right next to it.

                    Ha! Reminds me of my reunion last Friday: the topic of conversation all night was, whose boobs are real or fake? Everyone knows I had a boob job 10 years ago, and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. But I tell ya, my boobs had a shit-ton of action all night...girls kept coming up and squeezing them. So weird. DH got a kick out of it, of course.
