I haven't read the other responses but my advice is go try them on.

I love the idea but hated how they felt. I couldn't stand the stiffness. And they looked horrible on me.

They look so cute on everyone else ... But terrible on me! I wanted to like them but they just didn't work for me.

If you or anyone in your house is prone to athlete's foot, these nice toasty boots keep your feet nice and ready to host. YMMV.

I have some. I don't think the calves are very wide. I am tall and they are a little snug on my larger calves while my ankles swim in them. Love them though.

I'm so jealous of everyone who can wear such adorable boots. I can NEVER find a pair that will fit my calves and my feet. Or my calves and look decent around my ankles. It's a plague. I'm destined to never own boots.

Carry on conversation... I'll just be the girl over here in the corner, snuggling her ankle boots. Sobbing.

Um, you'll be the WAY cool-er girl for rocking the ankle boots! Regular boots ... *yawn*

I'll cry in the corner with you...I have big calves but they're not like ridiculously huge. However, boots make me feel like I have honey baked calves. I (stupidly) tried on a cute pair at lunch yesterday. They wouldn't zip up. :'(. I love the look of boots, but I can never find any that fit me correctly. ::le sigh::

Mine are not Hunter but they are tall, have acute pattern and have the fleece insert. I think the brand is bogs?? They were cheaper.
