I love my Isabella Oliver one that I got for my holiday party last pregnancy. It was pricey but worth it because I've now worn it twice.

It's clingy and probably too short for you or I'd send it to you to borrow.

Have you considered a maternity pencil skirt and a pretty top? That might be a more affordable/versatile option.

Not a bad idea. I have the skirt--but dressy enough for an evening wedding?

You're going to have lots more babies so you will get your monies worth for sure. Order the dress you really like and feel good in. Pregnancy is not a time to just find stuff that "works" but items you feel beautiful in.

I got this dress in Cobalt, and it's my current go-to nice dress. http://www.motherhood.com/Product.as...ategory_Id=MC3

Ha--a coworker just sent me that!

I really want something with sleeves, though, and the cinching around the waist tends to accent the muffin top. I know, super picky.

I think a fitted top that is pretty and in the right fabric (especially if it's red/another festive color) with your hair up and the right jewelry is definitely fancy enough!

Plus, seriously, no one is going to criticize a pregnant woman on adhering to perfect formality.

I still have two dresses from my last pregnancy but one is sleeveless and the other has spaghetti straps. I'll gladly ship either or both.

Thanks so much for the offer! I'm a 12 though--would they fit? I've always imagined you as a smaller size

Still debating pulling the trigger on the blue dress. I hate to admit this, but I've been a little obsessed with that style since Kate Middleton wore it. I should just do it. I know it would look good and it would cover my arms. I'm not digging them lately.

Girlfriend, she wore that like two years ago and if you've been eyeing something like that since, I say go for it.

ST, one is an M and the other is an 8. Didn't realize you were bigger. One of the dresses wasn't maternity and came from TJ Maxx. Check out your local one, you might get lucky for less than $100.

Thanks Vishenka. I actually checked out TJMaxx last week and nothing. Kohls was another bust. So I broke down and ordered the $95 Seraphine dress...despite the warning that it wouldn't come til next week, I saw they tried to deliver it this morning, so I'll know tomorrow if it will work. It better--I'm running out of options and time.

I'm happy with it. Which shoes?

                              Plain black?

                              Patent nude?

                              Lace black peep toes? Gulp.

I'm not diggin' the nudes. And of the 2 blacks, I like the second pair better. Sorry.

But the dress is awesome. And if you have more kiddos, it will definitely be worth the money.
