1. How many do you wear regularly? How many for special occasions?

I have two. Total.

2. How frequently do you wear them? (ie rotate between two, so every other day, or one most days, but have another that I wear if I'm going out for a nice lunch or meeting girlfriends, or 7 and I wear a different one every day)

Every other day.

3. How often do you buy a new bra?

Bought these in May. Usually buy a new one when the old ones are completely spent.

4. When do you cull a bra from the rotation?

When they are about six months past expired....

5. How often do you wash your bras?

Bout never.

So I realized these sad facts about my undergarment fashion.....my mom is even worse than I am, so I at least come by my sad state honestly. But I know there's a better way, right???

Part of my problem has been trying to find a good fit. There is no Nordstrom's near me (not until next fall), and my best store selection is actually at a Dillard's. My post-baby deflated droopers need a bit of help and they just don't fit in a bra like they used to.

What say the masses?

I have three that I like wearing and two more for backup. All bought from Fred Meyer, on a whim after slim to no trying on. I throw one out when the band is pretty much dead, and I buy new when I'm down to two or fewer I like wearing. I put them through the wash with the rest of my clothes every 2-3 wearings, and hang dry.

There are a couple of lingerie stores in the area. I'm trying to get up my gumption to get a proper fitting one of these days. The ones I have now aren't particularly flattering, and they give me back rolls.

Michele- I was like you pre baby but after having O my hormones changed and I developed awful bo. I can only where one once before having to wash it and I have about six. They are all barely there stretchy multisize fit bras. Probably not the best or most flattering but I have a hard time being fit- 38 small B/A. Almost no bras are made in that size. I wear them until the bands are over stretched and give me no support then I buy more when on sale at onehanesplace.com.

Maybe a dozen? I haven't really counted, but I have several.

"Special", as in going out? Or "special", as in getting laid? I have a few for each.

I have giant knockers, so I'm ALWAYS wearing a bra. I usually rotate between my favorite 5 or 6, depending on whatever my plans are for that day.

Depends on the bra and how I use it. Sports bras are washed every time. Bras I wear to get laid? Every use. Daily wear? Usually every other time I wear them.

Oh this is embarrassing... I probably just shouldn't answer!

1. How many do you wear regularly? How many for special occasions?
4. I have two nude ones, one without underwires that fits terribly and one with underwires that hurts. One black one with underwires that the straps don't stay up. One white nursing bra that I wear to the gym. I desperately need to go to a Nordstrom...

2. How frequently do you wear them?
I wear the poorly fitting nude most of the time, unless I'm dressing up or need to wear a black bra for my outfit.

3. How often do you buy a new bra?
Once or twice a year, whenever I get too annoyed with my current ones.

4. When do you cull a bra from the rotation?
When I buy a new one to replace it.

5. How often do you wash your bras?
Once every week or two.

I had two for a long while, but now have 4.
I scour places like Marshall's & TJMaxx for my size. (34DD)

I wash every 4th wear.
I wash sports bras every time. All bras are washed in cold and hung to dry: no dryer.

1. How many do you wear regularly?

I have 5 regular use, 2 special occasion (strapless style).

2. How frequently do you wear them? (ie rotate between two, so every other day, or one most days, but have another that I wear if I'm going out for a nice lunch or meeting girlfriends, or 7 and I wear a different one every day)

I tend to rotate through but wear one bra maybe a couple days in a row. The main bras I wear are nude, blue, and white with black so it depends on the other clothes I wear what bra I wear.

3. How often do you buy a new bra?

I have been in a bra buying spree because all my old bras didn't fit or were completely worn out. So... For about 15 years I bought maybe 3 new bras, then this last year I have bought 4 new bras already. Not counting sports bras which I buy fairly frequently

4. When do you cull a bra from the rotation?

Not often enough!!! I've thrown out about 10 bras in the last few months--- none fit me well although they weren't in terrible shape.

5. How often do you wash your bras?

Idk. Depends. I would say at least once for every 3-4 times I wear them. Cold, hang dry.

I actually was really happy with my buying experience at VS. I was fitted there and actually found my size, which is great as I'd been wearing the wrong size for the past decade or so. I feel much "perkier" and better supported in these VS bras.

I have four I wear regularly (two nude, two black), and one white that I wear only when I need white (because the white starts looking dirty more quickly than the darker ones). These are all the same bra (I like front close/racerback, and can't wear lined bras, so that limits the possibilities pretty severely). I wear one for a week, then wash all four "regular" ones every 4 weeks, in cold, separate load, in mesh bags, then air dry. I replace when they look worn (fabric thinning and being less supportive is what I usually notice), which usually takes about a year, I think.

I have several "special" bras for wearing with specific outfits that the regular bras don't work with. Some are padded, some are strapless or convertible, etc.

I have 9. 1 is black, 1 is a print that is predominantly navy, and the rest are nude. 2 of the nude ones are lined. I wear them twice and then wash them (gentle) and hang them to dry. I replace them when they are worn out. I cannot find my size (38FFF) in any stores except one specialty store that is a 45+ minute drive away, so I buy online from bare necessities. Panache and Elomi are the brands that fit me best.

1. How many do you wear regularly? How many for special occasions?

Disclaimer: I'm a lingerie whore so this is a dangerous question. I'm in the 30 range that I rotate based on what I'm wearing or just what I feel like. They range from black and nude t-shirt bras to lacy, frilly things.

2. How frequently do you wear them?

I wear one everyday without fail. Sometimes a bralette to bed also. I am obsessed with preserving these puppies as long as I can and am trying to avoid what my family refers to as boobs you can warm your hands under.

3. How often do you buy a new bra?

Whenever I feel like it, although I'm trying to curb my spending. But if it fits and it's pretty, I'm drooling. A huge fan of Betsey Johnson and Simone Perelle when it's on sale.

4.
When do you cull a bra from the rotation?

What LSW said.

5. How often do you wash your bras?

Every 3-4 wears, hand wash and laid out to dry.

1. How many do you wear regularly? How many for special occasions?

Right now I have just 3 and I wear two of those regularly. I'm strugging because I was a 36B til I got pregnant with N, but since then with nursing, weaning, and another pregnancy, I'm all over the place and have a hard time finding the right fit. Right now that's 38C, but it seems a little small. Yet 38D seems to be too big. It's not worth getting fitted right now because things keep changing, so I'm in bra purgatory for awhile

2. How frequently do you wear them? (ie rotate between two, so every other day, or one most days, but have another that I wear if I'm going out for a nice lunch or meeting girlfriends, or 7 and I wear a different one every day)

Ha, whatever is lying around closest and doesn't show under my clothes.

3. How often do you buy a new bra?

Not enough.

4. When do you cull a bra from the rotation?

Really worn, don't see it fitting again anytime soon (too common right now), or I'm not able to wear it often because something about it (lace, etc) shows too much under clothes

5. How often do you wash your bras?

Not often enough, but I certainly don't wear them if they smell, promise!

1. How many do you wear regularly? How many for special occasions?

3 standard bras (all nude or close to it and one with multi-way straps for sleeveless tops) plus about 6 or 7 sports bras in various colors I wear regularly, and only 1 now for special occasions (nude strapless). I had a hot pink one that was super padded for special occasions until it pulled a Will & Grace "water bra" episode on me about a month ago and I had to throw it away.

2. How frequently do you wear them? (ie rotate between two, so every other day, or one most days, but have another that I wear if I'm going out for a nice lunch or meeting girlfriends, or 7 and I wear a different one every day)

I rotate pretty evenly through all the ones I wear regularly, and I usually wear at least two a day (sports bra to walk the dogs, workout or take photos at the shelter; standard bras for everything else).

3. How often do you buy a new bra?

Twice a year maybe (and that includes sports bras) -- not often

4. When do you cull a bra from the rotation?

When it truly cannot be worn anymore, so it either rips apart or explodes (in the case of the gel push-up...). I'm very small chested so lack of support in a worn out bra really isn't an issue for me.

5. How often do you wash your bras?
Sports bras get washed the most, either after every wear or every other depending on how much I sweated. Regular bras, just whenever I feel like they could use it which is not all that often. All cold water and line dried.

How many do you wear regularly? How many for special occasions?

Hard to find sizes/good fit for me, so I have all the same bra...no special ones. I have about 7 or 8 regular, one sports bra

2. How frequently do you wear them?

I won't lie, I grab whatever is handy...so sometimes I'll wear one two days in a row, sometimes I change every day.

3. How often do you buy a new bra?

As infrequently as I can get away with...I shop at Intimacy (which you should all try because they are awesome at sizing and great quality. Plus they'll alter your bras twice for free as they stretch out with age and use). My particular bra style is too expensive to buy that frequently so I try to wear until they no longer do their job!

4. When do you cull a bra from the rotation?

When there isn't the level of support I need.

5. How often do you wash your bras?

Whenever they need it...hand wash, hang dry.

Funny you say this. I *just* got rid of my bras of 15 years. :embarrassed: Fortunately, I don't need a ton of support, but more more push up and padding. I'm at an age where I see bad bra coverage everywhere. About a year ago, I actually told a friend of mine she needed to get a better bra. Her lack of support was aging her. We're close enough that I could have this conversation but there are a few others I'd like to tell. Obviously, I don't feel close enough to "go there".

There comes a point and time where every small chested girl thinks, "Hallelujah!" I am there. At least the girls are still perky.
1. How many do you wear regularly? How many for special occasions?

I now own 4 new regular bras and two strapless. I have 5 sports bras. I don't "double up" on sports bras because this gives me bad chafing. They don't make enough "chub rub" (body glide) for that shit.

2. How frequently do you wear them? I wear a bra for two of three days outside of summer when I don't sweat a lot. I hand wash them. I *never* go without a bra.

3. How often do you buy a new bra? Uh, 15 years. (not proud)
I recommend Soma.

4. When do you cull a bra from the rotation?

If it's not a good fit

5. How often do you wash your bras?

If I sweat in them they get washed immediately else I wash them about every 4th wear, hang dry.
