  • What did you get in the sales?

I rarely pay full price for anything so I love to take advantage of Black Friday sales. I did all online shopping this year but got some great stuff.

    - I got this highchair/swing/seat combo for DS: http://pegperegousa.com/baby/tatamia. $70 off at albeebaby.com
    - I also got lots of clothes for him in Old Navy's 50% off sale and some at Target.
    - I got some Christmas shopping done, mostly bath products and cosmetics for my Mom and sisters at Sephora.
    - Also got some Nintendo DS games for myself at Target.

I'm hoping to get the rest of my Christmas shopping done online this weekend.

Some clothes for myself and N 50% off at Gap.

My Generation doll and accessory set at Target 50% off (for the 6 year old we picked from the angel tree)

Aerie had underwear 10 for $30 so my sis and I got 5 each. It was cute.

$10 thermal shirt for my dad from Target

Only some internet shopping for me. Had a coupon and free shipping for Land of Nod where I got a couple things for O. Also got cooking pot at Macys.

Today we went to a craft fair and got some non-sale items from local crafts people

What did you get in the sales?

We have a tradition of getting the kids new pajamas every Christmas, so I scored at the Old Navy 50% off sale.

I also got DH a USAWeightlifting sweatshirt from their website. Proceeds help fund Olympic athletes (and potential Olympic athletes) in their training, travel, and supplies. I'd probably have still bought it if it wasn't on sale. These are the kids DH works with when he does his sports medicine stuff.

I did some other shopping, too, but not for Christmas. Amazon got some business because DH's birthday is next week and I needed a new book for book club. Dude has been wanting a table saw for years and I found a pretty great sale on the DeWalt one he's been drooling over. Also found a rolling saw stand for it that was on just as good of a sale. The items themselves were 50% off and then Amazon was having a $25 off any DeWalt purchase over $100 special. I split those puppies into two orders and got $50 off. Still get the Amazon Prime free two-day shipping, too. Woot!

Buy Nothing Day here (except I desperately needed to grocery shop, so technically a buy nothing fail). I might get to the local businesses for Small Business Saturday though.

I shopped gap.com with a gift card yesterday. Today, I went to my friend's Catholic bookstore, Vera Bradley (40% off bday coupon), Sephora (needed mascara and got a bday month goodie), and Anthropology (15% off bday discount).

Oh, I also bought 3 pairs of baller tights, an over/under (flesh-colored leotard), and hair nets from a local dance store.

Clothes for DS from Children's Place for 30% off and wooden toys from a local eco-friendly baby boutique for 20% off. My mom got a really nice Bernina sewing machine at a local shop for 20% off (plus no tax since we're in OR).. I already did all my Christmas shopping for DS and my parents last week, so all I need now are some things for DH.

Nothing too big here. We bought some things we needed like ties, undershirts, gloves, and rain boots. I did get a lot of fabric from Joann's on sale so that was good for Christmas gifts!

Nothing here. Haven't been to any stores. I'll probably do some cyber Monday damage. I did quite a lot of online shopping this year already.

I completely 100% splurged and bought a treadmill I can barely afford. Thank you interest free financing and the prospect of a good tax return. I am not keen about running in the dark and the cold. Even though crime is low here, it doesn't feel as safe as it does in the summer when more people are out and about.

I was doing my grocery shopping tonight at Walmart and there were a few of their Black Friday items left. I got a waffle maker for 5 bucks.

I went shopping with my mom, aunt, and sister yesterday and today. My big splurge was a new camera lens. (I had some gift money from my grandpa.) I'm in love...

Other than that, I bought some pretty decorations for our house at Marshalls. Our walls are neutral, so I bought things that had lots of red in them. And that's as interior-decorat-ey as I get, folks!
