  • Acceptable bridal shower attire

Can I just wear a maxi dress? I'm assuming jeans are a no. It's with ladies from DH's clinic. It's chilly, but the tights I have I need for tonight so I don't want to wear a shorter dress and freeze (we're going to a ballet fundraiser tonight).

sounds good to me. If its just a small gathering at someones house, anything nicer than jeans should be acceptable.

What shoes? I usually wear sandals with maxi dresses. Too cold for them today! Can you tell I don't really want to go. I need an introvert day.

I'm switching to a black maxi skirt plus pink sleeveless top and black sweater. I have patterned black tights plus high heeled shoe/boots? Or heels? The skirt is too long. I roll the waist in summer, but can't with this top. I'm a mess.

And my black flats don't go with this skirt. They have some weird flower on them. LOL

I could borrow silver sequined flats from DD15, but they might be a bit much.
