  • Dress for graduation dinner

I'm trying to pick a dress for DH's fellowship graduation dinner this week. I can't decide. It's at a really nice restaurant but kids are allowed so it's not very formal.

I've narrowed it down to these.

I have shapewear to hide the tummy. These are the only shoes I have here but I can buy a pair if they don't look right.
And I may be the palest person ever, which I both love and hate. I don't tan and spray tan looks orange on me.

    Any thoughts?

Please excuse the bad pictures and the mess. We're packing for the move and DS was shouting for attention

OK, something in the picture is making that black/off-white one look like it has a mullet. I thought it was a high-low dress for a minute there. Once I figured it out, I decided I like that one the best.

Lol MSB. I think that's my laundry basket
The maxi is very long, too long for me. I think I can turn it up a little but would still have to wear high wedges. It came with a brown belt but it think that one is a little too casual.
Since I've been sick, I'm terrified that I'll break out in a fever/sweat (sweat stains yuck!) and would like to have something with a short sleeve to cover up if I can't go freshen up right away. I have two little cardi's that I'll post pictures of tomorrow.
I swear the part of my brain that knew about clothes has been replaced with baby info!

OK I think the purple one was too tight around the middle. Maybe in a few months

I really like the maxi dress, too. I'm all about maxi dresses and skirts for summertime. They're VERY comfortable and usually a much cuter alternative to most other warm weather choices.

I'm getting into maxi's and skirts now, way more comfortable.
It's either 1 or 3 then. I tried to find strappy wedges today and failed miserably. I cannot wait to have decent shopping nearby! I did find another pair of silver wedges at home though. I'll try those on tomorrow. I'm leaning towards the maxi because I'm kind of self conscious about my very white legs.
