What brand is it and what do you love about it?

The clasp broke on the beautiful leather one I got in Rome So disappointed. Since my birthday is coming up, I want to give DH some ideas

A custom made one I got on Etsy. It has adorable pintucks and is made of suit fabric. But I've been eyeing some Kate Spade bags. Alas, no $$$ for that yet

I'm currently loving my Transport Tote from Madewell. It's huge (great for travel and all the kid related crap I carry), simple, and the guality is good for <$200.

What color do you have? I seriously cannot seem to pass up a saddle/camel colored bag, but I'm am racking those up. I just love that color. I know I need black but I never want black. Maybe I'll split the difference and go with the burgundy. Anyway, I digress...what color do *you* have?

I also have a huge thing for totes, but I'm trying to steer more towards shoulder bags as the crook-of-my-arm carrying is starting to wear on my shoulders. I love my Michael Kors Hamilton, My Modalu Pippa, and my Nat & Nin bag I found in Paris. sadly, none of those are shoulder bags and I'm sort of tired of it!

For shoulder bag I really like my Longchamp Le Pliage. It's a good material, large size, long straps. it's a little less structured than I'd like, but it's really versatile. Plus Longchamp has tons of colors!

WPW, of course, I have the camel color. It's a problem. I, too, need a black bag. Have a bought one? Nope. Just keep adding to my camel/saddle collection. Just looked up the Pippa bag. Yep, I want it in camel/saddle. Maybe we can start a support group

I use it mainly when traveling to hold laptop/Kindle/lightweight blanket/etc. I slip my regular bag into it along with the travel extras. It's perfect.

YES! Luckily (?), I have man calves so that limits my options and saves my pocketbook a bit.

I never really got into totes because I love inside pockets/compartments. Also they're huge on me at only 5ft. I think I'll have to narrow it down to a couple and let DH pick! I'm so indecisive.
We have a coach outlet here though...dangerous!

I totally have this problem. I have made myself buy two pairs of amazing black boot the last fee years... Never wear them.

But I love black bags.... I think it was all the dirt in NYC. I learned my lesson the hard way.

Let us know what you end up choosing between! I LOOOVE bags, seriously they are my weakness and always the thing I want to splurge on. Another good thing about the Longchamp - easy to clean off if you get something on them. At least in my experience. That bag is durable!

Love my Le Pliage too! When one wears out, I buy another! I go through one every five years or so...mine is my work bag, so it takes a beating.

Also loved my Rebecca Minkoff MAB. I had to return it due to lack of funds, but it was gorgeous.

Ha, I mostly carry my Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag everywhere. I do have 2 Coach purses that I used to carry a LOT, one a gold leather swingpack, and one a leather satchel.

I do have a leather laptop bag for work that I absolutely LOVE: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004C54C5I I've had it for several years now, carrying it every day to work with a laptop and a whole ton of other crap in it, and it only shows minimal wear.

I thought about getting one but DS doesn't need a diaper bag as much now. I mostly leave it in the car.
That laptop bag is cute, great for travel too.
