So I raided a friends closet this morning, she has lots of great dresses and I probably found ones for the next black tie I'm going to but I'm not sure about this event...thoughts?

I think you could make the blue work.

The white doesn't fit the theme but OMG it's gorgeous

          James Bond Themed Party

Now I just got an email from the other partners wife, the one in the white dress in the promo photo. She's not wearing that dress, she's wearing a "more casual" cocktail dress. She said the younger crowd will dress up and the older crowd will be more casual. I just emailed her back to make sure her husband was even wearing his tux...UGH!

I think the blue dress is pretty casual IMO. I vote hubby wear the tux regardless. 007 wouldn't care what the other folks are wearing.

With 'pearls' so when party in full swing you can separate the stands to form a rope you can rappel down to get to villain's safe.......

Two more, I've talked to 2 wives that are going, one is wearing short cocktail and one is wearing a gold gown. This light one is cream with silver accents...

I think I still like the blue with pearls the best.

Bond, James Bond. What I leaned tonight is that I worried WAY to much about what to wear and I won't do that again.
