So I bought this sweater from a thrift store because it was big and I thought it would be good to wear around the house this winter. (Doesn't really match the rest of my outfit today, but hey, I was cold!) I brought it home and washed it, and this is the first time I've put it on since then. Whoops. Not so roomy after a tumble in the dryer! At least it only cost $2.

I have a fur coat that an elderly friend gifted me. She had me try it on and it did fit perfectly. She insisted that I have it because she could not fit into it. I have never worn it...it has been in two home coat closets for years now.

MrsK, I love how you paired it with jeans. I just did not know where or how to wear such a coat. Still, not sure about wearing it....don't know if I am afraid either ninja PETA people will jump out or I will look like - honestly, don't know what.

FWIW, I've never had anyone say anything unkind about my fur jacket. I mostly wear mine with jeans. ... because I mostly wear jeans. I've also worn it with leggings or dress pants. I usually don't wear it with skirts because it's big and looks shapeless with skirts. I've also belted this one sometimes. I used to wear it a lot more. Last year, I was wearing a maternity coat and looked forward to wearing the fur again this winter. But Lambie refuses to bundle so I've been wearing her under the maternity coat.

I was going to ask about fur this week! My grandma left me a fox fur stole (face and everything) and would that be bad to wear? I wear a fake rabbit fur coat sometimes but this thing has its face attached

I've got one of those, too CG. Feet and head on it. Yikes. My kid used it in a costumed book report when he dressed up as a fur trader in the Wild West. Otherwise, I've not figured out how to use it. Lol
