For a nice VP dinner tomorrow night - does this work? I tried to find some nice skinny pants, but they didn't have any in my size in stock.

Also, I can't decide if I like this or not. I was in a hurry with E, so I didn't spend a lot of time looking in the store, but I like the idea of it. I don't really know how to wear it though. I have brown boots and black flats.

I like option 1. Have a good time! Not a fan of the dress though. I think you can probably get something you really love for whatever this one costs.

Looks great. I love the white top. It would look nice with a fitted cardigan too.
The shape of the dress is not very flattering. It might work in a smaller size.It would be cute with black tights and boots. It's so hard to shop with little ones.

I generally prefer fitted tops with wider cut pants like these, but I wanted to bring some color in. I tried to find some skinny black pants to account for the flowier cardigan. I do have a red fitted cardigan though.

The dress is actually a smaller size than I normally get - I tried on a M, and it was super baggy, so I quickly tried on the S and felt like it fit better. I can't imagine an XS would actually fit me. I may just return it though. It was 40% off, so it wasn't super expensive, but I want something that's actually going to be flattering.

Also, the lighting is really terrible in these!
