  • work shoes

I have to dress professionally every day for school. This will include lots of pants and some skirts. I cannot, cannot, cannot wear heels to walk around all day. I'd also like to buy some shoes for walking around in Italy. If the shoes could overlap, that'd be fantastic.

    Help.

In my cart at Zappos, I currently have:

I really like ballet flats, and wear those a lot. Help, help, help.

Taos is a comfy brand. I bought a pair in Salt Lake City when we were walking around so much my feet were dying. If you have The Walking Company near you, it might be worth a visit.

I wear ballet flats to work almost every day. I like Borns (and BOC, their cheaper cousin). I can't bring myself to spend Tieks money yet.

                work shoes

Tieks are totally worth it, to me. I have such shitty feet that I can't walk without hobbling for a couple days when I wear shoes that aggravate my neuromae.

I can't bring myself to spend that kind of dough. Holy crap. I'm a cheap fuck, you should all know, and yipes.

Heidi, you know I'm as cheap as they come, but shoes are not worth skimping on. Particularly, once you will be on your feet all day.

Once you start clinicals, look at Dansko's. They are the only shoe that doesn't make my knees ache.

Everyone at DH's hospital in CA wore Dansko's.

Check for Tieks NIB on eBay - you may be surprised at what you find in your size.

Yeah, I'll get Danskos or Alegria clogs for clinicals, but most of the time I'll be wearing professional office attire.

What size are you? I actually have two pairs that are slightly too small. I wore each pair once, so couldn't return. But I also can't really wear them.
