Which ones are your favorites? I recently bought a $200 pair of Citizens for Humanity (is that what they're called?) and they are awesome. I had them hemmed, and ahhhhh... Jeans that fit and look good! But I don't see spending that kind of money on jeans all the time--so what are your recs for jeans for curvy and short people?

I'm not short, but I love Joe's and Hudson. I've found some good ones on sale at Nordstrom Rack and TJ Maxx, I've never paid full price for them!

I like Citizens, Joe's, Lucky (but not the low rise), and Mavi.

A girlfriend of mine gets all of her fancy jeans off ebay. Not sure if she buys them gently used or new, but she saves a TON of money and looks awesome.

Citizens. And I'm short and have hips for someone my height. I buy then on eBay for ~$85-95, have them hemmed and they last a decade...

I have Lucky Brand and a couple AG pairs. I am tall and curvy. Joes jeans don't work for me.

I cannot fit into Joe's nor Hudson. My legs are too thick, especially my calves. If I buy jeans at a Nordstrom, they hem them there for free. I'll try the other ones you guys mentioned, but I think I've just got to get the Citizens on sale...

I have really muscular legs from running and that's why citizens work so well for me. It's a more generous leg cut. Getting them on eBay and hemmed yourself is still likely cheaper than at Nordies though I get the appeal of that. I even have some pregnancy citizens jeans.

. I've got a few moments right now to have a peek on eBay for them. Thanks for the tip!

I like the sound of that. I've been so disappointed in the flimsy fabric on fashion "jeans".

It's not in the same class with the brands you're discussing, but Eddie Bauer has a "curvy" fit. I just got a pair of "slightly curvy" and I like the rise, the fabric, and the fit through the thighs. I need a belt though because the waist is a little loose (I have a 10" difference between my waist and hip measurements.) I think I'd try the "curvy" next for me -- and FWIW they also have a short inseam option.

I LOVE Eddie Bauer! I have about 5 pairs of their straight black stretchy pants (I refuse to say jeggings). They're so well made.

Nothing is short enough for me. Ever. I don't know why the "short" option is for people who are 5'4'' but that's NOT SHORT people!!

I have good luck with jeans from Banana Republic Outlet and Loft.

Do you have a Uniqlo nearby? I am short and curvy and I love their jeggings. They don't last forever but are cheap, hemming is free when you buy in store and they are so comfy. I'd wear them everyday if I had more than 2 pairs.
I don't have a store near me unfortunately so mine are a couple years old.

I also like American Eagle Outfitter's high rise jeans in Short. They cover my muffin top, the Uniqlo ones don't but I wear long shirts with those.
