    Calico Critters?

    Anyone know about these? My dd (5yrs) seems drawn to them at the local toy store. Trying to nail down some xmas presents before #3 makes his appearance. Thoughts?

    Aw, I love Calico Critters. They're the cutest. My sister and I had a house with lots of the animals growing up. I probably played with them for far too long. They're something I've tried to encourage my boys to try but it's been a no go.

      N had a family of hedgehogs or something. She liked them--I just had a hard time keeping track of them and their little clothes

              My mom gave them for several gift-giving occasions in a row, when DD was around 5. She likes, them, but doesn't *love* them, and there are a lot of small pieces (she got a big house and some extra accessories.) That said, all the kids flock to her play table when they come over. And they're so cute!

                I had some growing up and loved them. My baby sister liked to suck on their little rabbit ears though, and the flocking will come off, fyi.
