  • Someone dress me - need a white/light dress

I need a white/cream/light colored (preferably very light blue) dress for newborn photos. Needs to have sleeves and not be too busy/fussy on top. Delicate looking. Not too too form fitting though so waist would be nice.

Oh and come in semi normal sizes since I can't try anything on but will need it to fit 10 days post-baby so I need to be able to reliably buy like a size 4 or 6.

This might sound weird but would a cotton nightgown work? Maybe with a slip? I got one for Lambie's newborn pictures and it worked nicely.

Mine was something like this. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...5ffbd24704.jpg

You could belt it if it looks too much like a nighty. My pictures were close up with me holding the baby so it didn't matter. Nice because my body wasn't great just after birth.

If you go with H&M make sure to get a couple sizes bigger than usual. Their stuff runs pretty small, I think.

Good to know since I'm basically ordering and won't be able to try on until post-delivery. And I'll DEFINITELY be bigger than normal since I'll be <10 days post-partum.
