I'm thinking of buying a shop vac. Can someone advise me? We've worn out two upright vaccume cleaners, mostly vacuuming up sand.

Following. Asked DH to find a deal on one for Black Friday, but it fell on deaf ears. 😒

The 159,000 member Facebook group for Cleaning Science swears by Shark brand. But my Oreck has been going strong for 14 years so I have no point of comparison! (I will follow though because DH uses my vacuum to sweep his cellar mancave and it icks me out with all the dead bugs and stuff that end up in it. I want to get him a proper Shopvac that can handle that stuff better.)

I love love love our Shark Navigator. Not a shop vac, but if they offer one I'd definitely check it out.
