You'd think I'd learn, right?
Remember when we moved to the TX house (I think there are about four of you left) and I learned why we don't go barefoot in South Texas (Fireants- up and down my foot)
and when we moved to DC and I learned that we don't move large heavy boxes in barefeet (ripped off the toenail to a big toe)
and when I fell down the stair and into the stereo wire at the 2nd DC house (wire burns up the entire right ankle)
Did I learn? No. I. did. Not.
I was untaping a rug and somehow managed to bang it into a large mahogany mantle that we brought with us and the mantle fell...
right onto the top of my right foot. Which is now swollen and cut and bruised.
What kind of learning curve do I need? So- lesson learned- WEAR SHOES.
