Not Ron! He's my favorite, and my self-professed alter ego!

Say it isn't so! I hope that Ron and Hermione get married, have 20 kids together, and live to see their 50th wedding anniversary.

I hope so too! I will be bawling if any of the main characters die.

I had heard a rumor ages ago that the 7th book would be released this year on 7/07/07. Since it was the seventh year of school....and the seventh book.....that seemed plausible. Now, I find out that the movie (OoTP) is coming out 7/13/07. I'm guessing that kills any possibility of a summer release for book seven. They seem to stagger their "events".

Anyone know when the release date is now??

                      Cool!

Now I'm going to have to go back and reread the first six books before the seventh comes out.

I'll probably get stoned, but... what's so interesting about all the Harry Potter books? I have yet to be convinced to start reading them.

                            *throwing dust at you*

I agree pick one up and see for yourself. Dh and I didn't start reading them until the 4th book came out I think, and around the first movie. They are such easy reads, and at least for me my imagination runs wild with them. I normally do not like sci-fi books, and this is far from it. It makes me feel like a little kid again. Emma sees the books in our library (uhh it's nothing fancy- a desk, my craft desk, and two book shelves), and asks regulary when we can start reading them to her. (More like I think Emma wants to read them by herself).
