    shopping anyone?

    Did anyone else go?!
    I went to N. Michigan this afternoon and got some candles at Pottery Barn, placemats, napkin rings and ornaments at C&B. I spent less than $20! Most of this stuff is going into the presents box. This is when I do most of my gift shopping; I buy birthday gifts for the upcoming year.

    Yeah, this one lady grabbed some gift tags out of my hands!
    It wasn't too bad, because I went out at 1 or 2 pm and by then stuff had been gone through. They're really nuts about shopping in Chicago. Really nuts!

      I was at Bloomies by 9am. I had to stop at 2pm because I was getting hungry and tired and my trunk was full.

        I was at Talbots by 8 for their big sale. What did I get? A black cocktail dress!! I own probably 12 black cocktail dresses, and have only worn one- once. Black dresses are a weakness of mine. Nope, didn't buy anything remotely practical.

        Then went to REI to stock up on 75% off Xmas ornaments, you know the cute ones with Santa kayaking, mtn biking, or camping. Yes, folks they are now 75% off - get 'em while they last!!!
