Gosh I love it. How can you beat a 35 dollar case of completely consumable wine?!? Can you tell we just got a TJs and I am well into my own bottle? Every time I think..."It won't be as good as you thought it was." But it is.

ETA: The case of wine was DH's contribution to the baby-making effort. He figures that if there is wine that I could not possibly consume in the next week, I will get pregnant as a cosmic way of saying "HA HA!"

I can't tell you the number of wedding receptions and parties that I've attended or held and Chuck does well at them all.

    I miss TJ's too.

PS- good theory about the wine thing, too. My friend had asked her husband to bring back a case of their favorite beer from Maine- and then took a pregnancy test. That case of beer was her focus during labor, only to find out that her husband and steadily and stealthily consumed it all.

Yes, my case is slowly but surely dwindling.

I finally tried Two Buck Chuck this past week. It was....alright. (I swear I'm not a wine snob!) It was at least as good as the chic-chic la la stuff, anyway.

I'm really turning back to my roots in my old age. Give me a good beer over wine.

I miss TJ's too. Fortunately I just stocked up while in Chicago. $87 for:

          2 bottles of Pizza Sauce
2 bottles of Mexican Enchilada Sauce
4 boxes of Tomato / Roasted Red Pepper Soup
4 jars of no sugar added preserves
          2 bags pita chips
          2 bags pita chips w/cinnamon & sugar
          2 bags papdum
          1 bag dried edamame
          2 bags dried fruit
          2 bags trail mix
          2 boxes granola bars
4 boxes fruit / cereal bars
          4 jars of spices

          I think that's it ...

Then my cousin in LA sent me my Christmas present - a box of TJ's goodies! Including a box of Candy Cane Jo Jo's. Those are evil.

We get it for 2.99. I have cracked a bottle tonight as well I've got a few more days before I've got to abstain for the sadistic two week wait. What I love about it is that for 3-4 dollars you can't beat it. I would have to spend at least $12-15 dollars to get a bottle of wine that is as good. Now if I were to enter the $30 range, of course I could find something better , but that is not really apart of my wine vocabulary for a while

I dream of their fresh pizzas :] (imagine the ice cream is pizza)
