  • a new addition to our family!

wow - i am soooooo shocked. i was driving home from work this afternoon and i paged my husband - he called and sounded sort of odd. i was like what is wrong with you?! i was looking forward to a pooky night and i walk in the door. . .and he has a persian kitten on his lap?!!!!!! i almost died. it is my birthday next weekend and this was an early present. he is the most adorable ball of fluff that i have ever seen. i'm a little worried as to how our dog and cat are going to accept the newbie - but hopefully all will go well. just had to share!

        HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

How sweet of your hubby to bring you a companion! Do you have any names for the new prince/princess?

well, the new prince finally has acquired his name. he is officially known as jacques. we were having an impossible time deciding and last night in bed, my husband says "jacques" and i almost died from laughter. he is quite a frisky little fellow - unfortunately, he has a virus (i know - it amazes me that someone would sell a kitten with a virus to my husband - he is not as cat savvy as i am so he probably didn't know what to look for) but he is getting better and in another week or so, he should be at 100%. so more tales of little jacques to come . . .
