At the risk of getting smacked by the Minnesota contingent...

I'm freezing! It was 17 degrees here this morning. 17!!!! Brrrr!!!! Our house is designed for higher winter temps which is a nice way of saying that there isn't much insulation. <shiver>

    I'm not going anywhere today.

I won't "smack" you - it's 12 here with a windchill of -5. Of course our garage door decides to break on one of the coldest days so far this year.

I saw that about your garage door -- that really stinks! I hope it is easy to fix. I'm sure you need to keep it closed to keep heat in and pipes warm not to mention that it is nice to open and close with the push of a button. Murphy's Law definitely applies to furnaces and garage doors in relation to outdoor temp.

Our rear view mirror has the temperature come up and today my son says, "HEY Mom! Our car is the same age as me!"

17 degrees is very cold though -- brr -- I agree completely! Especially for where you live Nellie!!!!
