  • Finally, a perk!

My hubby just called and said that we have box seats to see the Minnesota Wild NHL team this weekend and next weekend! Apparently one of the attending physicians that he works with couldn't use these tickets. This is an unexpected Christmas present because we have talked about going ever since we moved here but have not been willing to pay the ticket price of $40 for general seating!!!! (Who pays this much for sports entertainment?)

    Whoo HOO!

Hey! Enjoy it! We had a drug rep give us some football tickets we couldn't use (OK- i had ZERO interest in using them), but it was cool to have even been offered!

We had the BEST time! I have never sat in box seats before, Heck, I had never been to a professional sporting event outside of a rodeo and a baseball game. This was a lot of fun! There was a huge spread of food and beverages and the seats were awesome! When ever we go to these type of events, we eat so much just because it is free. (pretty classy, huh?)

I am always a little worried when we take our son to my hubby's work events because high brow society functions and toddlers do not always mix well. But I figured that it was a hockey game, so by its very nature it had to be energetic and noisy. Cade was the hit of the party as he performed the wave, clapped, and chanted "hockey" all night. (Lord, help me, my baby seems to like hockey. I think that I would have to be medicated if I ever had to watch him play.)

There is a possibility that we may get tickets to one more game. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
