YEAH! My mom came on Thursday afternoon! I picked her up in Minneapolis, and we have been having a great time...Thursday night, she slept while we went to Linda's house for dinner...on Friday afternoon, her luggage actually arrived ! They lost her bags and sent them elsewhere and it took them until 7am on Friday just to find them....ahhh, things are returning to normal in the airline industry !
My mom is also overweight, and we were sitting in the car on the drive back...she was telling the kids that they would have to go to bed early while she was here and explained to Finny that we "grow bigger" when we sleep and "don't you want to grow bigger"? Finny responded.."wow, grammy babum (pet name) you must sleep A LOT!" My mom and I laughed until our sides hurt! Thought you might enjoy that little bit of humor...
