  • Film club

I just received an email from an old friend. She was telling me she's involved in a "Film Club" run just like a book club. The perks are the movie isn't the time investment a book is. She's been doing it with other Mom's and they pick a new movie once a month. Sometimes they even watch it together and discuss afterwards.

She also mentioned most women watch the movies with their spouses prior to the dicsussion so they discuss it with them, then with women. Usually the conversation with the spouse is different from the discussion with all women.

I'm a HUGE book lover and am in no way suggesting that this kind of group should replace a tranditional book club, but also have a passion for films.

Anyone here ever beein involved in something like this on a regular basis?
