If you are using a 2003 Norton product:

    Open your Norton software.
Click "Options" and select "Web Content".
Select "Add Site", and enter http://www.oldnavy.com
Click the "User Settings" tab, and uncheck "Use Ad Blocking Settings".
    Select "Permit".

If you are using a 2004 Norton product:

    Open your Norton software.
Highlight "Ad Blocking" and select "Configure".
    Click "Advanced".
Click "Web Contents", and select "Add Site".
    Enter http://www.oldnavy.com
Click the "User Settings" tab, and uncheck "Use Ad Blocking Settings".
    Select "Permit".

If you are using a 2005 or 2006 Norton product:

Open Internet Explorer and browse to http://www.oldnavy.com
Click the "NIS" or "Norton Internet Security" icon on the browser toolbar.
Uncheck the box next to "Block pop-ups on this site".
    Restart Internet Explorer.

I don't have Norton Anti-virus and this probably isn't good advice but I would probably just disable Norton while I'm ordering.

Do you a separate firewall up? That should prevent intruders from trying to hijack your system. If it's included in Norton, then I'd be worried about disabling it since your system won't be as secure.
Sorry - I don't have better advice. Hopefully someone else does.

Do you know which version of the software you have? It's hard to walk you through it via written help, but if you want to call me and go over it, I'll PM you my number. I am an *IT* recruiter, afterall.

Are you using IE? What about downloading Netscape and trying that way?

i know you all are just dying to know the outcome of this.

dh fixed it for me last night. there was some hidden button dropdown thing on the norton/syntex(?) thing i was missing.

            clear as mud, right.
