  • Houston?

Is anyone here from Houston? Is it a nice city, user-friendly, lots of things to do with kids? The girls and I either have the choice of accompanying my husband to Houston for 2 weeks next month (he'll be working all day)or going to visit the grandparents for 2 weeks. Still undecided.

I don't live there but my sister does. She doesn't have kids but has several friends with them. I can ask her for you.

We've been down to visit a few times and one of the highlights of our trip was the NASA tour, the downtown area is beautiful and they have LOTS of really nice malls with play areas, etc. One has an ice rink. There is also a great part near her.

    I'll ask my sister...

ETA: Tell me again how old your girls are?

Lived there & trained there. It should still be nice next month. You do not EVER want to be in Houston in the summer though.

re: user friendly...it depends. Where are you staying? If "inside the loop" (I610) then, yes. If out - not so much. Traffic is horrible 24/7 so location will determine "user friendly".

There are tons of things to do with the kids - awesome food - and like any big city great shopping.

PM me if you have specific questions.
Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!

oh- check out the Children's Museum. Fun place - even for grown ups.

The museum of natural science is pretty neat too.
