Here is the deal. My best friend who lives in California last night called and said that she is having a hard time meeting suitable friends. She is such a catch: intelligent, drop dead gorgeous, accomplished (succesful estate planning attorney), loving, kind, funny, articulate, bilingual, outgoing, and just a damn fine human being. I honestly can't believe someone hasn't snatched her up!



So my question to you all is does anyone know any suitable bachelors living in the Southern CA area? O.K. I'm only half serious.



She would KILL me for ever posting such a question, but I just want her to be happy. She has no hangups about being single so it isn't as if she has desperate written on her forhead. Why can't nice single people meet up?

I had the best time- some of the guys were totally wierd but most were regualr people who didn't have the time or the kind of job that lent itself to meeting people of the opposite sex.



And of course, I met my beloved husband that way!



I posted our ad on digitalcity (my two friends and I) but my friend who is Jewish also posts on Match.com and there's one called Jewdate.com. The best part is- if you anwswer a guys' ad- you're practially guaranteed a date.



Just remind her to meet in a public place but don't meet for coffee- it's way overdone.

BTW, my hubby and I were introduced by my aerobics instructor who was a classmate of my dh. Contrary to popular belief, we are living proof that doctors and lawyers can be friends.

Where in Southern Ca? We live in Pasadena, near LA, and might know a few - but would she be interested in the medical type? That's mostly who we know.
