I am so psyched!
I leave tomorrow at 6am to fly to Pittsburgh for my dad's surprise 60th birthday party! He thinks he's going in to do my grandmother's taxes, but in reality everyone is coming in! His birthday isn't until early March so he shouldn't be expecting anything.
Unfortunately, my husband will miss yet another fun family function. I think my cousin is going to think that I made him up! Every time there's a large famly gathering either he can't make or she can't make it!
anyway, his best friend is driving up, my brother and sister-in-law are bringing our cousin, my aunt and uncle are bringing my other cousin (along with two birthday cakes- she put herself through college working at a bakery!), and my uncle, aunt and 8 year old cousin are flying in from NYC. My dad's cousins are coming in- he hasn't seen them in 3 years- plus my best friend from childhood will hopefully be able to come in.
I went eBay shopping (no surprise there- I found my husband online, too) and bought all of this really cool stuff from Pittsburgh that I'm going to put in one of those display boxes tonight. Things like a beer tap from the local brewery, postcards, a picture of the 1942 Pittsburgh Pirates.
I can't wait!!!
