    Weekend vacation get-away ideas?

    Can anyone give us some good weekend getaway suggestions? We are looking to find some ways to get away together as a family on the weekends and take some mini-vacations until we can take a "real" vacation.....

    Well, if you lived in Texas I know what I'd suggest, but since you don't, I'm suggestion-less! Are there any good, tourist-y places within a couple of hours of your home?

      Go online and look at the weekend getaways that Expedia and Travelocity have. You can set the parameters to be your hometown.
