    Going to the DENTIST

    waaaaaaaaaah. I have to just give a good moan here. First of all, my appt. was at 8.10am. I had to have two permanent crowns seated and two teeth filled Anyway...we all overslept and I got up at 7.57a.m. The kids had to play hooky from school today so that I could go, because I didn't know when I could get Thomas to have time off again...and then I raced over....they couldn't GET my top tooth numb...it just wouldn't do it..and so they worked on getting it ready to place the permanent crown in and then placed it and then used a mallot to hit it into place. Honestly , I almost passed out



    My mouth is soooo sore. I told my dentist that I was coming home to make a little doll of him to start putting pincushions in...and that if he started to feel any jabbing pains, he'd know why

    Your dentist sounds like a real masochist. I feel for you. I can't stand going to the dentist. May you recover quickly.

      My deepest sympathy - I'm going to a new dentist next Tuesday. I HATE going. Last year I had a crown followed by a root canal (which destroyed the crown) followed by an abscess!!!!! THEN my dentist told me the reason I had all of the trouble was because I was under a lot of stress (getting married, buying a house etc). Hence the reason for the NEW dentist. Do I sound annoyed?

        Actually, he's a great guy...but I'm going to sew him a little doll just for fun



        I'm totally miserable though...I can't tell you anymore how many advil I've had tonight.

          I have to say... one thing I will hate about moving is finding a new dentist... I love the one I have now! She's awesome... and to make it better... All the rooms have TV's to watch (headphones to listen) while you are in the chair.... a handy remote to flip through the satellite stations.... and even a back massager on the chair. WOW.... this dentist knows what she's doing!



          I prefer women dentists over males.... they are always so much more gentle... and with smaller hands.



          I hope I can find a new dental office like this one!

            What a freaky dentist!!! I say...go and switch ASAP..an abscess from stress?



            Carey...WHERE are you going to the dentist? It can't be UF, because they have nothing there...and they are soooo overpriced!!! Actually, dental care outside of Gainesville is much more reasonable...I'm paying almost 1/2 here in MN!!!! I think that if I had a dentist like that that I would NEVER move
