I believe the best way to learn is through experience and we figure things out for ourselves.

So what are your bits of wisdom that you've accumulated so far?

    I learned:

-Cut up your credit cards. Quit while you're ahead.
-Don't unload all your negative emotions on your SO.
    -Grades really do matter.
-Have your own friends and hobbies outside of your relationship with your SO

    more coming up later...

    • Contribute to society: this can mean formally working, staying home to raise a child, mentoring, helping out the local school, being active in your church or community groups -- DO SOMETHING to help others. Take time out of every week to be selfLESS.

You have two ears and one mouth, you should use them in that proportion.

That's hilarious! Or how about Dave Barry's wisdom, "don't take a sleeping pill and a laxative at the same time."

And don't complain you're fat while you are eating your second cupcake in 5 minutes. It annoys your boyfriend.

Live in the moment - you never know what's around the corner.
Always leave kind words with your loved ones
No matter how bad your day is, someone is probably having one that's worse
Enjoy each moment with your children - they change so fast!
Laugh a little (or a lot if you can) everyday - it makes you feel good!
