OK..I'll give away my vote here....I voted no because Arafat not only condemned the attacks in Arabic, but also had the individuals responsible arrested. I guess I see this as a step in the right direction....I would hate to have our country attacked for something that a minority of people did if the president was at least trying to take steps to stop it......I know Arafat isn't perfect, but neither is Sharon...at some point the violence must stop....Sharon would be doing his country a favor by not retaliating....

Kristen, how do we know that those who support terrorism are in the minority among the Palestinians? Could you tell me how you come to that conclusion? Arafat may publicly condemn the most recent attacks as he has in the past, but it means diddly squat - either the man is directly behind this and thinks the rest of the world is a bunch of idiots (Israel's theory based on the fact that Arafat hires the people who makes the bombs and teach young boys and girls that suicide bombing is "martyrdom") OR he has absolutely no control whatsoever and the Palestinians could give a rat's patooty what Arafat says (and he's just a "front man").
