    Superstitions

    So who is really freaked out b/c today is Friday the 13th?
    Wife to NSG out of training, mom to 2, 10 & 8, and a beagle with wings.

      Not me! I LOOOOOVE Friday the 13th! My mom always said it was our lucky day b/c my dad left on Friday the 13th (3 days after my 11th birthday). And then DS#1 was born on Friday the 13th -- no bad luck there!

        Me neither - 13 has always been my lucky number and it was the number I always wore in sports. There have to be some superstitous people out there though...

              Me too. I've been 13 on my various jerseys since I was 6.
              There was this big discussion on whether my high school could retire #13 -- ???

                            I'm pretty superstitious. We were originally going to take our vacation this week. Flights were $200 cheaper for Friday 13th I don't think I could have done it!

                            I remember one day, coming home from school, my Dad told me he'd had a car accident. He took me out to see his car, which looked fine until I walked around to the drivers side... The whole right wing (right hand drive) and door had been ripped off. A truck drove right into it, missing him by inches. He came out without a scratch. I remember him saying "It was a close call! I don't know whether to feel lucky or unlucky, it's Friday 13th!"

                            I was never superstitious until that day!
