I'm really heavily leaning toward the full pack right now. There's no way DH will be involved in packing several weeks before the boards and even though I've done it pretty much on my own before, I'd rather focus my energy and time elsewhere. So far I've gotten the best vibe from Mayflower and will be most likely (unless a final sweep through movingscams.com reveals something) be going with them.
Thanks to everyone who participated in beating this dead horse for the past few months.

We did both, I packed some & they packed the majority! Just make sure when they are unloading you are hovering around. I was trying to keep an eye on the kiddos and I wish I had been able to keep an eye on them. There were a few loud thuds and when I'd inquire , "oh it's nothing" because the furniture looked OK I didn't mind. It was a few days later that I realized they had banged into the stair & landing railings and knocked them loose!!!The furniture had covers on it so that's why I didn't notice any damage.
