Baby Shower Games

I need some help! My cousin had a little boy, he was a premie so we weren't able to get the shower in before he was born. Anyway, I am in charge of games- which i hate anyway!

But what are a couple cute games with a baby there already?

It is a group of people that will not know each other so something that is easy and people will not mind doing?

Please help! Idea's?

This is a low-key game that really doesn't put anyone on the spot. Put lots of small baby things (pacifier, bottle, diapers, comb/brush, Desitin, rattle, booties,...you get the idea) out on the coffee table or some central location and don't mention them to anyone. Halfway through the shower inconspicuously pick them all up and hide them. Then pass out pencils and paper to everyone and tell them to list as much as they can from memory. Whoever lists the most is the winner, and they get the baby items - to give to the new mother of course.

At the last shower I was invited to, we were asked to bring a children's book and write an inscription to the child that explained how we knew his/her mother. That was cute!

At the last one I went to, we did a crossword about the baby and mom, a word search, a trivia quiz about celebrababies, and a little game where we set a timer during gift opening and when it went off, the person whose gift was being opened at the time got a gift. I think it was set for ever 5 minutes or so. That was cute.
