    So far they seem to be taking it pretty seriously here. They have now instituted a 'time sheet' in the NICU, PICU and on the ward for the interns and residents to sign off. My husband was actually sent home yesterday after a mere 30 hour day- but he actually slept for 6 hours (ah, the joys of being a third year!) while on-call in the PICU. So, we'll see how it goes. I'll be seeing some of the spouses this weekend at our party and I'll find out how things are in 1) other areas of the military and 2) other hospitals in town. (Most of the spouses are also physicians, either military or civilian)
