    My friend's sister-in-law is in a contest w/the Boston Pops

    She's trying to win a guest spot singing with the Boston Pops. You can view her video and vote here. Here name is Maria Perry (I suppose if you feel compelled to vote for someone else, that is your right ... )

      OMG...The title of her song was enough for me...then to hear her sing it was such a treat!

      My folks were born 1924 & 1932. My mom was a singer, so I grew up hearing those wonderful old songs...only to me they seemed contemporary, until I got older and realized I was a few generations behind...but thanks to Kasey Kasem (Kaseem)& his top 40, I soon caught up w/ my peers
