Yeah, if I didn't live in Nowheresville, USA where the thought of shopping in a decent department is a distant memory, I might have gone. I don't want to hear it, alison. Plug ears, LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA ...

The old hang-it-in-the-closet-and-pretend-you've-always-had-it doesn't work at your house either, huh?

This works for me, most of the time - DH pays NO attention, if he asks I tell him its old.

I am really impressed that your DHs notice!

I once left the dinner table and changed clothes. My DH didn't notice I'd done either...when I got back, he was asleep, chin on his chest, snoring.

          Post-call sucks!

And I agree with Lily's signature line: "ARREST DEVELOPMENT" RULES!! Funniest show EVER!

The episode with the "analrapist" scene (Tobias's business card advertising him as an "analyst AND therapist") left my doubled-over, laughing on the floor.

I remember that part now! I think we had to pause the DVD to dry our tears since we were laughing so hard!!

Unfortunately, no Nordstrom here. I do love this time of the year though. Victoria Secret, Disney Store, and Bath and Body are all doing their semi-annual sales now. Can we just say it's going to be a tight month???

I'm going to go this weekend but just to get the on-sale kid shoes. Since I will have all three kids with me, that should squelch any temptation. That and my soon to be mortgage payment. :>

It was really crowded. I thought I was being smart by going on a week day. Nope!

I bought two pairs of shoes. One pair on sale and the other not. The ones I didn't get on sale are Taryn Rose sandals that I'm probably going to return. I can't justify spending that much on a pair of shoes. Darn!

Up in petites, I bought some tops and a jacket for Germany.

I would be lost without Nordstrom. I'm willing to spend full price there, because I know I'm getting good service. If the product doesn't meet my expectations, I know that they'll stick up for me. It's not the same shopping experience anywhere else. It's a slice of home, even though you could fit the Chicago store into the shoe section of the Seattle store.

                            Where do you all go?

Lily, there's no Nordstrom in NYC. There are a few in Westchester and has to be at least on in CT though. The nearest one to me is in Jersey but closed on Sundays. Although I did get some Bloomies coupons in the mail yesterday.
