Does anyone subscribe to an audio book rental? (same idea as netflix, but with books)

Would you recommend one, I'm hoping to join something as our library is limited in this area and the boys love listening to stories in the car.

I've never heard of a rental service, but I have downloaded stories from iTunes and burned them to cd.

For car trips, Cracker Barrel restaurants offer rentals of CD and tape audio books. The books can be returned to any Cracker Barrel restaurant along the road. This is very handy if you end up lacking in entertainment on a long road trip. The last time I was in one (on this recent vacation), they had a decent kids selection. If they are near you, you could try it out.

I do Audible or iTunes for book downloads online. I'm going to check out that link, Annie!!

            That's a great website!

FYI- in Wendy's kids' meals now the "toy" is a children's book on CD. We got the Magic Tree House Dinosaurs. Great for the car.
