  • Go Refinance your home TODAY!

OK....we have lamented the bad deal that we got on our mortgage...some of you know that we received HORRID interest rates due to our debt-load...and if we had known then (back at signing) what we know now, we have said we wouldn't have bought. The high interest rate made a huge difference in our payments....

Anyway...we went to the bank this week while Thomas has been off and applied to refinance...and we were bowled over...we definately should have looked a little harder when we were trying to finance the first time. We are re-financing at 5.75% interest (half of what we are paying now ) and it is going to make a huge difference every month....

If you own your home, look into refinancing...there are some great deals available right now. We were nervous about asking and trying...and now we are soooo glad that we did. The best part is that after the refinancing goes through (no down payment or closing costs, btw!!!!) we won't have to pay our mortgage for 1 month

Excellent news Kris- you guys needed a break!

We got a great rate on the home equity loan and I just got the first payment coupon. Whew. Thank God we did it, that's all I have to say.

We used the VA for our house, so refinancing is a huge pain. But we still got a great rate, just not as great as they are now!

Congrats! (and why don't you and Thomas treat yourselves to a noght out with some of that found money?!)

      Kris,

I just realized that we are eligible to do this. Wish me luck--I'm going to the bank today.

Go For it...and tell us what happens. Seriously, we were really nervous about trying and are sooo glad that we did. The interest rates are at an all-time low! It feels so good to finally catch a break!!!
