  • eBay problem

I won a flash drive on eBay on Tuesday, and after I won I immediately paid with PayPal. I got the receipt and funds have already been transferred from our checking account.

The problem? A little while later (i.e., AFTER I'd already paid using PayPal) I got an email from the seller that read:
Please help me quickly process your order by clicking on the link at the bottom of this email. The link will take you to my secure Vendio Checkout form, which allows you to quickly enter your shipping and payment information.

Please do not attempt to complete your purchase using any other method, as it may delay shipment of your item. If you have already completed checkout using the Vendio Checkout button in my item listing, please disregard this notice. If you have any questions, please reply to this email.
The Vendio Checkout form asks for shipping information and then payment ... through PayPal. Well, I don't want to do the Vendio checkout thing because I'm afraid that I'll be double-paying. I've already emailed the seller *twice* and haven't gotten any response. The first time I replied to the email that was sent to me, and the second time I forwarded the PayPal receipt that I had gotten for payment for the item.

This has never happened to me before, what do you think should I do?

I would give it a couple days. Maybe the seller is out of town for the holiday? If you don't hear from the seller by Tuesday, I would contact ebay. They have an online customer support that you do via chat and they're pretty helpful. Also as a last resort you could file a paypal dispute. They investigate and the seller has to prove your item was sent. If it never was, then they take the money out of the seller's paypal account and put it back into yours. This can take anywhere from 30-60 days.
