I like to plan my pretend vacations with all of the travel sites: frommers, budget travel, expedia, travelocity, babyfriendlyboltholes.uk, beertours.
I have demonstrated amazing restraint, too. I haven't ever just hit, "reserve this trip". I've been sorely tempted but so far I've been good.

Has anyone heard of stumbleupon.com? You pick what interests you (they have hundreds of categories), press the stumble button, and it directs you to all kinds of super interesting sites you would have never heard of.
I will 'stumble' into the wee hours of the night. Once, I came upon this picture that said "Stumbling will lead to insomnia". I got the hint and logged off. It's really addictive yet great at the same time.
Besides stumbling, I check:
dlisted.com (gossip)
perezhilton.com (gossip)
facebook
myspace
craigslist.com
ebay.com
endless.com (shoes shoes shoes!)
