WOW...You WONT believe this!!!!!!

OMG! My dad and Rose have been here this week visiting and we've just had the best visit....while they were here, my dad took a look at our broken down car sitting in the garage waiting to be paid off so that we can junk it. He started the engine and felt that it was actually FIXABLE. We told him what the mechanic said about it, but he disagreed. He knows alot about car engines and he found a place here that would look at it. Remember how they told us that it would cost $300 just to take apart the engine and tell us what was wrong...and that the repairs would be at least 1000-1500?



WELL...It turns out that inside some kind of a fly wheel? there were bolts loose...and the man tightened them...and it FIXED the PROBLEM. I'm NOT KIDDING! We also have had oil/transmission leaks for awhile but were told that they would cost ~1200$ to repair...so we hadn't done it and we've just been adding oil constantly.



Well...this same mechanic is now fixing both oil leaks...and the grand total for everything????????????????????



$275!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



My dad and Rose also gave these repairs to us as a gift...ie...my dad already wrote the mechanic a check.



We pick the car up next week...and the mechanic who looked at the car said that the engine/transmission, etc...are in sound mechanical shape...

Seriously, I'm actually happier that you and your dad have had such a great visit. That has to tickle you pink. Oh yeah, the added bonus of a second car doesn't hurt either.
