I've been outside only once today to check the mail. It rained last night so it's past 5pm, still above 95 degrees (heat index 105) but it's still the coolest it's been all week. But, Heidi, I'll take it over snow too. How demented are we?
I need to get the kids out of the house today (Sunday) so Dh can sleep between shifts (we're staying in a teensie weensie house - while here this summer).
I'm excited because I just found out about the Irish Fest on Harriet Island today. There are many stages and activity areas with lots of music, dancing, plays, puppet shows - even border collie sheep herding demonstrations (which I happen to get a big kick out of), miniature golf, Irish dog shows, gaelic sports... Can you tell I'm excited?
Admission and all activities are free! I'm sure I'll need some cash for food.
Today's the last day - but it goes from 9am to about 6pm. Here's the link if any others of you are in Minnesota right now and looking for something today: http://www.irishfair.com/
