As for Alison's comment about the salon, that is different IMO. Most salons have a no children policy exactly because their clients are there to relax, I see no issue with that.

I'd be a bit afraid of what the f-you might start. I don't want to get into a physical fight!

As far as the mom and her baby in the salon. I figure if I want quiet, then I'll go later in the day when there are fewer moms and babies out. :huh: In Chicago it's actually nice to see kids around. There aren't that many in the city, like in Seattle, so sometimes it's nice.
