  • I feel like Alison

I went to a restaurant tonight that I'd really been looking forward to, and was SO disappointed. It's called Caliente, and is Cuban. One of my very favorite restaurants in the world is Cuban, and I was so hopeful that I'd find something similar here.

    Nope.

    Bummer.

Bummer. I would get really excited for Cuban food. The best Cuban food I have had was in Miami. Shocker, huh?

That just happened to me too!! I'd been waiting for years to go to Home in the Village. The homestyle cooking and local ingredients were supposed to be great and I honestly can't beelive I paid that much for food that.... sucked.

Sorry it wasn't everything you hoped for!

I went out to lunch with some colleagues today and it SUCKED! I had a crispy chicken salad, and the lettuce was warm - not cold, not room temperature like in Germany, but warm. Ew! I'm tired of the shi**y dining experiences here. Rant over.
