It's snowing HARD right now. It's the first snow of the season...not to be the last.

It's SOOO pretty when it comes down. I love reading by the fire and watching it out the windows.

Now when it snows in April...I'll be LESS enthusiastic!!!! :brrr: :brrr: :brrr: :brrr: :brrr:

      Re: weather check in

We've got near 50 and falling leaves. It's grey and dreary though. We have been getting first snow around Thanksgiving since I moved here. I'm hoping we still have a few weekends to get the patio furniture stored and the leaves raked up!!

It is currently 28 degrees today. We have a chance of flurries today and a few days next week I beleive. Our days are still getting into the mid-40's so I suspect it will be a couple of weeks, at least, before we get our first snow. We've had several hard freezes overnight though so that is good, the bugs are gone for the most part. We still need to get our patio furniture stored and DH still needs to clean out the gutters but other then that I'm ready - bring on the snow.

Mid to Upper 80's and dry in Palm Springs. I have no idea about San Antonio.

It has been dry (rain-wise) for the last few days but foggy and damp in the am. Low 50s today and rain and rain continuing for the next....oh 150 days or so.

Lots of leaves down but lots to go. There is a beautiful flame red tree across the street still hanging on to its leaves.

Weather here's same as Angie reported. Our neighbor's dawn redwood hasn't even started turning brown yet, let alone dropping needles. Have seen some pretty yellow/orange/red trees; luckily not too horribly many leaves in our yard.

                    Snow already? Brrrrrrr.

Sunny and 60 here. DH is home today so I picked up Panera for lunch (DS's favorite) and we had a picnic in our backyard. I wish it would stay like this all winter.

Crisp and cool. In the 40's today, but mostly sunny. Nice cool air to breathe in, falling leaves, I love it!

The leaves have started changing colors. Blah. I hate winter.

It is sooo cold. The high will only be 64 today, and the low is 40. Brrrr. I don't have a coat that fits me. I need to find a good mid-thigh length light coat for less than $30.

Thank God no snow yet. It has been right about 40 and dry. Tollerable, but it is getting sad as more trees lose their leaves. I just continue to tell myself this is the last winter here, the last winter...

Thanks for the heads-up, Angie! I took pictures of the "snow" that fell two days ago. I keep hearing warnings about Cleveland winters, and in a twisted way I'm looking forward to it. For the first time in my life, I've hired a snow plow service for the winter. They haven't marked the driveway yet, but they cashed my check. Mark me ready.

If you hired a plow service it will be a mild winter.
