Anyone here with some computer skills?

There are some really neat things that we could do to the boards here....add a calendar, change the template...but I am absolutely clueless. Apparently, for those who are more computer literate, this is a snap...for me.....ummmmmmmmm....let's just say it won't happen anytime this YEAR!

If you know anything about php or are able to upload files via FTP and read instructions on how to install without falling out of your chair, would you PM me?

Are you familiar with phpbb at all? We just moved over here from ezboard and I'm finding myself a little more than just slightly overwhelmed at having the umbilical cord cut and being on my own in cyberland! I like the change though!

I'm looking to change the template style, add a calendar, stats...but I'm clueless. Would you be willing to get into the server and give me a hand? There are tons of options to make this place a bit more...personalized. I'm just afraid to try it out. I tried uploading the vbulletin style template today and now some of my users are getting private messages in a foreign language.
